Nominations Clarifications #3

With sixteen and a half hours until the close of noms (countdown), this will most likely be the final clarifications post. For any nominations that appear in the last day which we aren't sure about, we'll deal with them at our discretion. If you're submitting anything that's potentially complicated, please comment here to let us know. (This applies especially if you're submitting an "All Media Types" or "& Related Fandoms" fandom and genuinely believe that's the best way to nominate that fandom.)

There are only a few remaining queries at this stage:

Broad fandom tags

Two of these are Anime & Manga fandoms still waiting for clarification from the first post:
Overlord - Maruyama Kugane & Related Fandoms and 涼宮ハルヒ | Suzumiya Haruhi - All Media Types.

There is also a nomination for Carrie - All Media Types. This tag is definitely too broad, given the existence of the book, two films released in cinemas, a TV movie, and various stage productions, as well as sequels. Please renominate with a specific fandom tag for the desired version.

Crossover pairing nominated under single fandom

Assuming that the "Eleanor Bramwell" in Eleanor Bramwell/Anne Lister is the lead character of Bramwell (TV 1996), played by Jemma Redgrave, this should be nominated under Crossover Fandom rather than Gentleman Jack. Alternatively, if there is an Anne Lister contemporary called Eleanor Bramwell, please point us in the direction of evidence of her existence.

Most of the characters nominated under Star Wars Original Trilogy aren't actually from those films, even if they are theoretically contemporaries with the characters in them.

Thanks for bringing this up. As per the post from the opening of nominations, we do have a special rule for this particular canon (or overlapping set of canons, depending on your point of view):

In-universe SW crossovers (e.g. Rey/Jyn Erso, not Rey/Natasha Romanoff): we're happy for you to nominate those under whichever SW canon you think fits best, or under Crossover Fandom.
